Around 650 PM...severe thunderstorms were were located across portions of western and northwestern Oklahoma near a line from carmargo...to Strong City...to Dempsey. These storms were moving east northeast around 25 mph. Hail up to the size of half Dollars...wind gusts over 60 mph...and brief heavy rainfall will accompany these storms. Weaker thunderstorms were also located across northwestern Oklahoma near Burlington and Waynoka. These storms were moving northeast around 30 mph. Those planning outdoor activities across western...northwestern... And northern Oklahoma this evening should remain alert to changing weather conditions. Be ready to seek shelter if threating weather approaches or warnings are issued.
